As part of the 2025 Journalismusfest, Innsbruck-based journalist Susanne Gurschler led her first city tour, featuring locations from her book “111 Orte in Innsbruck, die man gesehen haben muss” (111 Must-See Spots in Innsbruck.) With the updated version now available, Gurschler has adapted her tour of the city centre’s special gems. She explains, for example, what historic ground visitors are standing on when they enter the Innsbruck Information office, shows where one of Austria’s few GPS control points is located, where the weather has been given a monument, and where the military used to move in at regular intervals. The tour will end at Bozner Platz Square at the stand of Journalismusfest – now also part of Gurschler’s updated guide.
