Adrian Mihălțianu

Adrian Mihălțianu is a journalist with more than 19 years of experience, both in editorial and management teams for medium-sized and large media companies. As publisher of PressOne, he brought the publication from a one-donor model to a sustainable, complex mix based on subscriptions and strategic partners supporting its investigations and storytelling.

PressOne is now reaching more than 1.4 million people every year on its website, and more than 6 million people every year on its social media channels, especially through video and multimedia output.

In May 2018 he was one of the 14 finalists of the Global Challenges Prize in Stockholm, out of 2700 projects, witha project for reshaping global governance based on leveraging resources for cities from similar communities across the world. The freshly-launched Portico Urban Initiative by the EU is very similar to this project.

Mihaltianu has also been published as a science-fiction writer and received the Siemens CEE Press Award 2019 for an article about how Industry 4.0 will impact our lives.
