At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Alicia Prager

Alicia Prager is a journalist for the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard and is primarily engaged in research on climate and environmental policy. In the economics department she works both on daily news coverage and investigative research. Before, she used to work for the newsletter team of German daily newspaper Tagesspiegel Background and published articles as a freelance journalist for media outlets like The Guardian, German weekly newspaper Die Zeit, and Deutsche Welle. This includes various formats, including video reports on the conflict in the Northeast of Nigeria, a graphic novel on midwifery in Sierra Leone and a climate newsletter with translated texts from journalists from all over the world for the magazine Datum. She studied Political Science, International Development and Journalism in Vienna, Aarhus, Sydney and Amsterdam and is member of the Reuters Institute Oxford Climate Journalism Network.
