Yugoslavia, Palestine and Iraq are only three of many war-torn countries that were documented by photographer Anja Niedringhaus in her iconic pictures, before she was murdered in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan in April 2014, while she was working. For her work in Iraq for the news agency Associated Press (AP), she was the first German photographer to receive the renowned Pulitzer Prize together with nine colleagues in 2005. The film shows impressive photos of Niedringhaus and sheds a new light on her killing.
