At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Arianna Poletti

Arianna Poletti is a freelance journalist and PhD candidate in political ecology at the School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. She moved to Tunisia in 2019 after working for the French weekly magazine Jeune Afrique. Her work focuses on environmental, social, and postcolonial issues in North Africa and Europe. Her reports and investigations have been published in Italian and international media outlets, including Al Jazeera, New Lines Magazine, Mongabay, Le Monde DiplomatiqueSocialter, Reporterre, and Internazionale. Her investigative projects have been supported by Journalismfund Europe and the Earth Journalism Network. She received an honorable mention at the DIG Awards in 2021, won the Diversity Prize at the Italian Podcast Awards in 2022, and was nominated for the True Story Award in 2024.
