For three days, journalists will meet other knowledgeable mediators of information from different regions of the world in Innsbruck. In conversations with colleagues and other experts, visitors find out what is going on behind the scenes of the information on international events, which is often hastily and superficially conveyed, and can contribute.

Current social, political and cultural developments are the focus of the debates, from book presentations, exhibitions, doc-films and audio features. The Journalismusfest Innsbruck opens a window to the complex present in which we live.

Tobi (Tobias Krell) finds a mysterious treasure chest, but only one person has the right key: Marina, circumnavigator and Tobi’s best friend from kindergarten. But where is she? Tobi’s new adventure begins when he starts looking for her. On his journey, he reaches the world’s biggest cave in Vietnam, he braves the stormy waves of the Chinese sea, meets the horseherds of the Mongolian steppe, as well as the indigenous population of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. Always with his end in mind: Solving the riddle of the treasure chest and finding those mysterious flying rivers. A documentary adventure film to marvel, ponder and laugh for the whole family!
