Participants

At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Frauke Huber und Uwe H. Martin

Frauke Huber and Uwe H. Martin have been documenting social and ecological consequences of global agriculture since 2007. Their project named LandRush employs traditional journalistic publications, linear web documentations, interactive apps, spatial installations using multi-channel videos, conferences, and performances to showcase their research in journalistic, artistic and academic context on a global scale. In addition to that,  they established the development project Aggrey’s Dream which supported a school in Mombasa with their four teachers to launch a school meal programme and enable the construction of a bakery, that now finances the school. Uwe is co-founder of the international art and research project World Of Matter, of Riff-Reporter, and Transformation Journalism; and he teaches worldwide—journalism, film, storytelling and eco-social, planet-centric and circular design.
