At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Juliane Löffler

Juliane Löffler was born in 1986 in Frankfurt am Main. She studied Cultural Studies, Spanish Philology and German as a Foreign Language at the University of Potsdam and Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute. After her studies, she worked for German cross-regional weeklyder Freitag and worked as senior reporter for BuzzFeed News (later Ippen Investigativ). Since March 2022, Löffler has been an editor for the department Germany/Spotlight for German magazine SPIEGEL. For many years, she has been covering topics related to sexualised violence and abuse of power. Most notably, her research on former Bild manager Julian Reichelt sparked considerable attention. For this investigation, in 2021, Juliane Löffler and the Ippen Investigativ team were recognised as “Journalist of the Year” by Medium Magazin.Löffler was awarded numerous awards and distinctions for her works, including the Reporters in the Fields Scholarship of the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Bert Donnepp Award and the STERN Prize 2022.
