Katharina Limacher holds a Master in sociology and a PhD in religious studies and works as Programme Manager at the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion VDTR at the University of Vienna. She studied and completed her PhD in Lucerne, Switzerland, with periods spent in Paris, Vienna and Rome. Her research focuses on the political aspects of Christianity, Hinduisms in Europe, youth religiosity, digital religion, and social science and feminist perspectives on religion.
