Lea Ernst had not tried the slightest hint of LSD, until, in 2022, she participated at a scientific DMT study for a report in a Swiss hospital: The perhaps most potent hallucinogen in the world was directly administered into her veins. In Innsbruck, she will take to the stage and tell us how the drug smashed her reality into pixels for six days and give an insight into what it’s like to trip out surrounded by a bunch of white-coated doctors. Whenever Lea Ernst takes a break from DMT, she works as a freelance reporter and photographer, for media outlets including German weekly newspaper ZEIT, German weekly supplement SZ Magazin and Swiss weekly magazine NZZ am Sonntag Magazin. She prefers to write reports, covering social issues and foreign affairs and she lives in Zurich.
