At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Magdalena Stefely is an editor for funk, the content network of ARD and ZDF, based in Mainz. There she is specifically responsible for research and investigative journalism, which is published on funk’s channels, funk formats, tagesschau.de and heute.de, depending on its relevance. The Upper Austrian studied the two Bachelor’s degrees Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPÖ) and Communication Science in Salzburg. During her studies, she worked for Hitradio Ö3, the Austrian Embassy in Berlin and the ORF foreign office in Brussels, among others. After her studies, the 24-year-old worked as an editor for TV, radio and online at ORF Upper Austria. During this time, she took the basic journalism course at the ORF Centre in Vienna. In addition to the aforementioned experiences abroad, Magdalena Stefely lived in Colombia for one year and studied political science and economics for one semester in Turkey at the Bosphorus University Istanbul.
