At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Matthias Fleischmann is a journalist from South Tyrol. Whilst pursuing his degree in Politics and Literary Studies in Innsbruck he first set foot in the world of journalism assuming the role of editor in chief of UNIpress. He then went on to work for various media outlets including the South Tyrolean weekly magazine ff, student magazine Skolast and online magazine SichtWeisen published by the Internationales Bodensee Konferenz (International Lake Constance Conference). He graduated from a journalism programme at the University of Liechtenstein, before earning his Master in “Arts and Cognition” in the Netherlands. Apart from his journalistic work, he developed projects for web and TV outlets, including the debate formats “Bullshit!” and “Südtiroler Blinddates” (South Tyrolean Blind Dates). Matthias currently works as German editor for the bilingual street magazine zebra. which is published once per month and sold throughout South Tyrol by people facing challenging circumstances.
