At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Tekla Aslanishvili

Tekla Aslanishvili is an artist and film maker, based in Berlin and Tbilisi.
She is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and is a fellow at the graduate school of the Berlin University of the Arts.
After earning her degree at the State Art Academy of Tbilisi (2009), she completed a master programme in Experimental Film Making and New Media at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Her works were exhibited on an international level, including the Berlinischen Galerie, the SculptureCenter New York, at the Taipei Biennial 2023, the WIELS in Brussles, the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, the art venue Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, at the Transmediale 2023 in Berlin, at the LOOP Festival – Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona, the art association Neuer Berliner Kunstveren, at the 14th edition of the Baltic Triennial, and at the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial. She was Digital Earth Fellow (2019), nominee for the art award Ars Viva (2021), and was bestowed with the Han Nefkens Foundation – Fundació Antoni Tàpies Video Art Production Award (2020).
