Marietta Tol ist Landecker Lecturer an der University of Cambridge sowie Senior Postdoctoral Researcher am Trinity College, Cambridge. Zu ihren wesentlichen Publikationen zählen das Buch „Constitutional Intolerance“ (Konstitutionelle Intoleranz)(CUP 2025), die Spezialausgabe „What’s ethnicity got to do with it?“ (Was hat Ethnizität damit zu tun?) gemeinsam mit Dr. Elisabeth Becker in Ethnic and Racial Studies und „Secularisation as the fragmentation of the sacred and of sacred space“ (Säkularisierung als Fragmentierung des Sakralen und des geistlichen Raums) mit Prof. Phil. Gorski in Religion, State, Society. Marietta leitet die Konferenzreihe „Politische Theologien“ an der Universität Oxford.
