About the festival

Admission to most of the festival events is free. Please arrive early, as seating is subject to availability. In some cases, registration is required—this is specified for each individual event. A fee applies to all film screenings at Cinematograph (€8; free admission for school students and children). Tickets for the “Reporter Slam”, concerts by “Pussy Riot” and “Maria Ma” as well as “Die verlorene Ehre der Katharina Blum” can be booked via the Treibhaus website; tickets for “Reportagen Live on Stage” and “DOSSIER live” are available via the BRUX Freies Theater Innsbruck website.

The festival hub for participating guests is located at the Treibhaus cultural centre, Angerzellgasse 8.

Opening hours:
Thursday 07 May: 3:00pm–7:00pm
Friday 08 May and Saturday 09 May: 9:00am–8:00pm
Sunday 10 May: 9:00am–3:00pm

This year, Journalismusfest will also be present at Bozner Platz, alongside partner media organisations and partner institutions. There is a dedicated programme for this location. This is also where you will find our info point.

Partner bookshops will be present at selected events with their own book tables. In addition, books related to the festival will be available in these bookshops.

Also this year, Journalismusfest is supported by a festival editorial team in cooperation with the Medienkolleg Innsbruck.
