About the festival

Admission is free of charge to most of the festival events. Please, make sure to arrive early; as seating is subject to availability. In some cases, registration is required—this is specified for each individual event. A fee applies to all film screenings at Cinematograph and Leokino (€8.00, free admission for school students and children). You can book tickets for the podcast Servus. Grüezi. Hallo and for the Reporter Slam on the website of Treibhaus Innsbruck; and tickets for Reportagen Live on Stage are available on the website of Theater praesent.

Partner media and organisations will showcase themselves in our festival tent on Innsbruck Market Square. This is also where our info point is located. The festival hub for participating guests is located on the premises of the cultural centre Treibhaus, Angerzellgasse 8.

Thursday, 15th May: 3:00pm–7:00pm
Friday, 16th May and Saturday, 17th May: 9:00am–8:00pm
Sunday, 18th May: 9:00am–3:00pm

Partner bookstores will be present at select events with their own book tables. In addition to that, they will have a selection of books related to the festival available in their bookstores.

Also this year, thanks to a collaboration with the Media College Innsbruck, a dedicated editorial team for the festival supports the Journalismusfest.

The organisers give their best to provide a climate-friendly festival. We kindly ask our guests, to use climate-friendly options to travel to Innsbruck. The Tyrolean transport association VVT is our “Partner for a Better Climate.”

Getting there

You can easily reach Innsbruck by train. The city is located at the intersection of the north-south connection over the Brenner Pass, in the middle between Vienna and Basel.
