A weekend with a view

Open to all!

Journalismusfest InnsbruckInternationale Tage der Information (Innsbruck Journalism Festival – International Days of Information) is a hub, a place of debate, and cultural exchange. Journalists from different regions of Europe and beyond will make their specialised expertise heard, enter into discussions about pressing matters with researchers, NGO representatives, and other experts and provide an insight into their job. They will all engage in conversation with the audience.

The international Journalismusfest is a cooperative project. The event’s organisers partnered with quality media outlets from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy in order to bring this programme to fruition. Furthermore, support from local cultural organisations, partner festivals, or institutions like the University of Innsbruck facilitates the event.

We open a window for the complex present that we live in.

A festival for the interested public.
Free admission to most of the events.

Look closely at what is happening.

Donations

The Journalismusfest Innsbruck – Internationale Tage der Information is organized by a non-profit association. It is important to us to give as many people as possible access to the events. This is made possible primarily by public funding, partners such as the university, foundations, associations, several cooperations, a few advertising revenues and a small number of low-cost tickets.

In order to be able to continue organizing an international and diverse festival with largely free admission, we also ask for donations.

Many thanks to all those who support the festival!

Donation deductibility

Donations to the Journalism Festival association are officially tax-deductible. Only those who enter their first name, surname and date of birth can and must forward their donation to the tax office. This means that donations are automatically taken into account by the tax office for tax purposes. If you wish to donate anonymously, simply do not enter your date of birth. However, the donation will then not be tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!
