At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Andrei Liankevich

Andrei Liankevich, born 1981, is a Belarusian photographer, lecturer for a course on Photojournalism at the European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania) and holds a position as managing director for the Month of Photography in Minsk (Belarus) which he has initiated in 2014. The annual photo festival unites 20 cultural institutions and 25 exhibitions. 

Liankevich has presented his photographic oeuvre in more than 60 exhibitions in Europe, Asia, and the USA: in Noorderlicht Gallery, at MOMA in Vienna, in National gallery in Warsaw. Andrei won several prizes such as the prize at the Humanity Photo Awards 2009, the “Magnum Expression Award”, the OSCE photo contest, the Grand Prix at the “Warsaw Photo days”, and the Gender Photography competition. Andrei is among the 15 most influential artists of Belarus in 2000-2010 and was awarded the Grand Prix of the “Kaunas Photo Star” portfolio review.
