Craig Murray

Craig Murray, born in 1958 in West Runton, Norfolk, is a Scottish journalist, historian, blogger and human rights activist. Between 2002 and 2004, he was the British Ambassador in Uzbekistan. After disclosing the practice of torture, Murray was forced to leave the diplomatic service. In 2002, Murray, then based in Uzbekistan, disclosed that the United Kingdom and the US were involved in torture practices as part of the so-called „War on Terror“.
