At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Deniss Hanovs

Dr. Deniss Hanovs, a cultural scientist and professor at the Art Academy of Latvia in Riga was born in Riga in 1977. He earned his PhD with his research on middle-class press and nation in the Baltic provinces in the 19th century. As a researcher he developed an interest for the culture of remembrance in the post-colonial societies of Eastern Europe, especially for the situation of ethnic minorities in the Baltics.
