Hannah Espín Grau holds a degree in Political and Legal Sciences from the University of Münster. Since 2018, she has been focusing her research on excessive police violence and the way such incidents are dealt with. She is research associate for Prof. Dr. Tobias Singelnstein (Goethe University Frankfurt) and co-author of the study “Gewalt im Amt” (Violence in Office), which was published by Campus in 2023. In her last published work, she tackled the topic of pain compliance holds as a technique in police practice.
