Hanno Loewy, Dr phil, born 1961 in Frankfurt am Main, literature and film scholar, exhibition organiser and publicist. From 1995 to 2000 founding director of the Fritz Bauer Institute in Frankfurt am Main, since 2004 director of the Jewish Museum Hohenems in Austria. Since 2001, he has also been a lecturer at the University of Konstanz in the field of literature/media studies. From 2011 – 2017 President of the Association of European Jewish Museums.
Publications and exhibitions on the Jewish present and history, film theory and film history, the history of photography, the history and reception of the Holocaust, the cultural history of modernism and National Socialism, neoconservatism and the history of Palestine.
