Harry Putz is a filmmaker in Tyrol. Putz started making mountain films in 1998 “as a passionate snowboarder” at the age of 25 alongside his career as a professional athlete. Since 2001, Putz has been working as a freelance filmmaker and also realises productions in the mountain and documentary film sector. Among other things, Putz has produced advertising films for Tirol Werbung and Innsbruck Tourismus. Since 2015, he has increasingly dedicated himself as a filmmaker to nature films in connection with nature conservation and is thus closer to his purpose than ever before. In the future, he would like to devote more time to documentaries, says Putz. With “Ludersager” 2020, Putz was on the shortlist for the Ibiza Prize of Dossier magazine. Filmography, a selection: Freeriding Spitzbergen 2003, Spotlight Cima Tosa 2006, – Tiroler Wehr’n sich (10 episodes) 2015, INNBewegung (10 episodes) 2021; Bis zum Letzten Tropfen 2023.
