Jochen Markett is the organizer and moderator of the Reporter Slams. This entertaining stage competition started in Berlin in 2016, and the show is now touring throughout Germany and abroad. The worldwide trend behind it is called “live journalism” – the combination of journalism and culture. The direct contact between the live audience and journalists makes a decisive contribution to restoring the ever-dwindling trust in the media. Further show concepts are being planned.

Jochen Markett was born in the happy Rhineland area. He has been living in beautiful Potsdam for six years now. He has always tried to combine entertainment and journalism in his professional life and is happy to have found the ideal path to do so.
