Nina Horaczek, born in 1977, is a political scientist, journalist, book author and currently chief reporter for the Viennese weekly Falter. She has been working for many years on the topics of the New Right in Austria and Europe, the welfare state, migration, asylum and women’s rights. She is co-founder of the transnational research network Europes Far Right. Her work has received several awards, including the Concordia Prize, the Claus Gatterer Prize and the Dr Karl Renner Journalism Prize. Her most recent publication, together with Walter Ötsch, was Wir wollen unsere Zukunft zurück. Streitschrift für mehr Phantasie in der Politik (Westend Verlag 2021).
