Rudi Novotny is deputy head of the knowledge department at DIE ZEIT. He previously graduated from the German School of Journalism in Munich. He then completed his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the University of Essex. He completed his Master’s degree at the Hertie School of Governance. He joined DIE ZEIT in 2014 via the Frankfurter Rundschau magazine and Seite Drei / the Berliner Zeitung magazine. He is the author of the book “Work-Love-Balance” and has been awarded the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for his reportages, among other honours. Rudi Novotny lives with his family in Berlin.
