Stefanie Ruep has been Salzburg correspondent for Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard since 2010 and works as an independent journalist. While she leads a car-free lifestyle in Salzburg, she is out and about in the mountains every week and published a hiking guide for public transportation users in 2023. As a lecturer for the study programme for Sports Journalism in Salzburg, as well as at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and as Head of a training editorial department at TV station Freies Fernsehen Salzburg FS1, the journalist is committed to training the next generation.
