At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Sven Hansen

Sven Hansen is senior editor Asia-desk of the Berlin based daily taz since 1997 and a regular contributor to the Vienna based developmental magazine Südwind since 1995. For Le Monde diplomatique Germany he published the editions on Afghanistan, China, India and Southeast Asia. During his studies of political science he had volunteered in setting up a developmental foundation and was supporting civil society projects in Asia for more than 20 year. After postgraduate studies in Communication for development in Malmö he had organized annual workshops for journalists from Myanmar and Cambodia with the taz Panter Foundation. For a couple of years now he is moderating a talk show on politics and society in Asia, since 2019 under the title “Han Sen’s Asiatalk” (www.fb.com/HanSensAsientalk, Playlist: tinyurl.com/hansensasientalk).
