At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Anastasia Magazowa 

Born in 1989 in the Crimea (Ukraine). Studied Ukrainian philology and journalism in Simferopol (Ukraine). Since 2013 author for the taz. From 2015 to 2018, she was a correspondent for Deutsche Welle (DW). Since 2020, she has been studying political science at the Institute for Eastern European Studies at the FU Berlin. 

As a journalist, she is particularly interested in politics in Eastern Europe as well as German-Ukrainian relations. In 2021, she published the book “Unrecognised Stories” – a collection of reportages on de facto states in the post-Soviet space that are not recognised under international law: Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh. 

In 2022, she co-authored a diary about the Russian war in Ukraine “War and Peace“.

For the taz, she has reported almost daily from the Kyiv region, from the Donbas and the surrounding towns since the beginning of the war.
