At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Frederik Obermaier is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist, bestselling book author and co-founder of the Anti-Corruption Data Collective. Before founding Paper Trail Media, he was deputy head of investigations at Süddeutsche Zeitung – Germany’s biggest quality newspaper. He was, among others, part of the Offshore-Leaks, Luxembourg-Leaks, the Azerbaijani Laundromat and FinCEN-Files-investigations. Together with his colleague Bastian Obermayer Frederik Obermaier initiated and coordinated the “Panama Papers”-revelations. Obermaier is a member of the jury of Reporter Without Borders‘ Press Freedom Awards. He is member of Netzwerk Recherche, of the Forbidden Stories-Network and of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).Frederik Obermaier is the deputy head of the Department of Investigative Research of the Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ). In a joint collaboration of Der Spiegel and Süddeutsche Zeitung he triggered the Ibiza affair in 2019.
