At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Georg Kaser

Georg Kaser is a retired professor for Climate and Cryospheric Research at the University of Innsbruck. He is an expert in tropical glaciology and has served as Lead Author and as Review Editor in 3 consecutive IPCC Assessement cycles since 2004. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Geo- and Atmospheric Sciences between 2015 and 2021 and is presently a Vice President of the Austrian Science Fund FWF.
