At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Julia Regis

Julia Regis, born in 1989, studied history, cultural studies and literature in Munich and journalism in Leipzig. She is a journalist and currently works as an editor for the ARD political programme MONITOR. For several years, she has been focussing on the extreme right in Germany, the networks and ideology of the so-called New Right and the AfD – as well as the topics of migration and social justice. In addition to numerous contributions to the programme Monitor, Julia Regis was the author of ARD documentaries such as “Der AfD-Staat: Rechtsextreme an der Macht?” (2024, ARD in collaboration with Véronique Gantenberg) or “Hammerskins – Das geheime Neonazi-Netzwerk” (2021 in collaboration with colleagues from WDR and MDR).
