Marzio G. Mian, 58, is an award-winning correspondent and author. He has been deputy editor-in-chief for the weekly magazine of Corriere della Sera for seven years and he’s now special contributor for Corriere della Sera, il Giornale, GQ Italy, RAI TV, SKY Italy, RSI Swiss Public Radio, Reportagen magazine.
Mian founded The Arctic Times Project, a non-profit journalism association that focuses on the consequences of climate change in the Arctic region, and The River Journal, a multimedia collective project that reports on current issues while exploring the greatest rivers of the world.
Marzio Mian recently received a grant from the Pulitzer Center in Washington for an investigation on the environmental crisis along the Mekong River basin in Cambodia.
