At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Mattia Nelles

Mattia Nelles is the CEO and co-founder of the German-Ukrainian Bureau, a boutique consultancy focused on research and strategic advisory to enhance German-Ukrainian relations at civil society, business, and the state levels. He served as a foreign policy advisor to a member of the Bundestag. Until the full-scale Russian invasion worked in Ukraine for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on community development in Eastern Ukraine. 

Mattia Nelles focuses on Eastern Europe, but especially Ukraine, where he lived and worked for several years. Until late 2020, he was Program Director for Ukraine at the Center for Liberal Modernity (LibMod) in Berlin. There he managed, among other things a consulting project with Ukrainian parliamentarians. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Free University of Berlin.
