At the Internationale Tage der Information in Innsbruck, journalists from different regions of the world can speak with their specific expertise, comment on pressing issues, debate with one another and talk to scientists, NGO representatives and the Audience.

Rainer Schüller is deputy editor-in-chief of the STANDARD. He studied journalism and English and during this time worked for the Austria Presse Agentur and a local newspaper. He started at derStandard.at in 2000 and has since been involved in setting up and developing the online edition. First as editor for politics, then department head of domestic politics and chief of staff. Since joining the editorial board in 2013, he has been responsible for the integrated editorial department of the STANDARD – currently with a focus on “fast speed”. He is organisationally responsible for the news departments (domestic politics and chronicle, foreign affairs, economy), the news team with the online CVDs, the web video team and sports, and works on improving editorial workflows. In addition, he is an external lecturer at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Studies at the University of Vienna.
